Party of NO!
Andy Hefty
JACKSONVILLE – At the risk (or is that the overwhelming sense of euphoria?) of tweaking “mainstream” media, Democrats in Congress, and top-level yes-men in the White House, I would like to announce my proud and unapologetic membership into the “Party of No!”

And now a word from the Republican Party!
It’s getting rather sickening in Washington with everyone pointing fingers and pushing blame over health care, taxes, spending, environmental issues, military, and all the other issues that surround us. The latest robotic repetition is calling Republicans “the party of no.”
Well I got news for you: I like that title.
Knock it off!

That was the Drill Instructor’s call to cease whatever activity was no longer warranted when I was in boot camp. That call was followed by silence and stillness. It was a command for everyone to button their lips and pay attention. The antics were to stop, and everyone was to immediately – and seriously – focus on the task at hand.
But with Congress, such is not the case.

Can you hear me now?
The Associated Press reports that Congress is set to spend more money they don’t have on projects and programs in which the federal government has no business. But spend they will.
Remember the 1992 campaign? The previous call for “change,” orchestrated by Bill Clinton highlighted “trillion dollar budgets.” Now the current deficit exceeds the budgets from only 17 years ago.
Your choice: Get off the couch or socialism

There’s an old saying that there are three kinds of people in the world. There are people who make things happen, people who watch things happen and people who ask what happened. The latter group will wake up in the not-too-distant future and ask what happen to the United States of America if they just sit there.

Uh, dude . . .
The big government tax-and-spend liberals are happy with this irrefutable government power grab of our liberties, while too many conservatives at heart are just sitting on the couch. And since the mainstream media is not connecting the dots about what is really happening, here are some recent examples:
Karma Has a New Name: Kanye

Finally, for once, President Obama and I agree on something! Kanye West is a jackass, and not just for stealing sweet, 19-year-old Taylor Swift’s microphone and award-winning moment at the VMA awards. Kanye rakes in millions as a singer, yet he’s tone deaf: fans cringed in “fingernails-on-blackboard” pain when Kanye’s auto-tune pitch correction microphone malfunctioned on “American Idol.” Frankly, even Yoko Ono sings better than Kanye.

"No You Can't" sing, Kanye, and the prez called you a donkey.
Suddenly it occurs to me: Kanye West and Barack Obama share more than their African roots! They both carry the “I’m Not Worthy” gene: Kanye can’t sing, and Obama won the presidency because he gives a great speech, but he can’t speak cogently or even PC without a teleprompter (or his Press Secretary… Gibbs, where the heck were you yesterday?) But I digress….
