Jamie Weinstein
Born in Allentown, Pa. and raised in sunny Palm Beach Gardens, Fl., Jamie graduated from Cornell University in 2006 with a double major in Government and History.

While far above Cayuga’s waters, he was an online columnist for The Cornell Review and a weekly columnist for The Cornell Daily Sun. During his senior year, Jamie was named one of the “25 Most Influential Cornell Undergrads” by The Cornell Daily Sun for his provocative writing and campus activism.

After graduating from Cornell, Jamie worked as a Collegiate Network Journalism Fellow at Roll Call Newspaper in Washington, D.C. While at Roll Call, he wrote for the paper and worked as the assistant to its executive editor—and Fox News “All-Star”—Mort Kondracke.

Besides Roll Call, Jamie’s work has appeared in The Weekly Standard, The American Spectator Online, FrontPage Magazine, the New Hampshire Union Leader, and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, among other publications.  Often writing about national politics and international affairs, Jamie also tries to insert a sense of humor into much of his work.  In doing so, he hopes to live up to an ideal best professed by the great Winston Churchill, who once said, “I like a man who grins when he fights.”

Jamie’s writings are also infused with the perspective he has gleaned from his extensive travels. His journeys have taken him from China to Israel to Cuba and throughout Europe and South America.
