The Democrats are Agent Smith, and each of us is Neo
Democrats suffer the largest mid-term defeat in modern American political history, have an all-time record-low approval rating of 13%, and they respond to that by ramming through everything that caused that loss and rating in a despicable lame-duck session.
With Republicans set to have the House majority, President Obama responds by ordering executive branch alphabet soup agencies to unilaterally force down America’s throat via regulation every freedom-crushing policy he now will never get through Congress. From tyrannical EPA regulations to the resurrection of Obamacare “death panels”, personal liberty is under assault by our own federal government and top elected officials as never before.
And if they had it to do over again, President Obama, Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid proudly boast that they wouldn’t change a thing, so convinced are they that the leftist ends justify any unconstitutional and fascist means, and that it was well worth it to lose short-term office in order to gain long-term authoritarian power.
How much longer will it take for us to wake up and realize that the Democrats are a relentless, vicious enemy that will stop at nothing to win? That King George III in 1776 had nothing on these thugs? That they cannot be reasoned with, or bargained with, don’t feel a hint of remorse or pity, and are egotistically incapable of shedding their leftist delusions and accepting reality?
That America as we’ve known it is facing as grave a threat as it ever has in its history, perhaps the gravest as it’s from within, has the mainstream media non-stop propagandizing for them, and last but most the support of a substantial part of the population as mindless dependent recipients of its entitlement largesse?
About the only place that seems to see the gathering darkness is the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board, as today’s fantastic lead editorial, The Liberal Reckoning of 2010, indicates. And even then, they only diagnose the problem; they don’t attempt to reason out what that diagnosis must mean insofar as a treatment or prognosis is concerned.
The logic isn’t at all difficult; if Democrats are this delusional, relentless, and remorseless, then there can only be one of two eventual outcomes. One is that they eventually win – which, substantively, they are well on their way to doing – and establish the de facto dictatorship they want, to devastating consequences for both daily life and the freedom and liberty of the world.
The other is that we the people rise up and stop them by force, as their behavior has made quite clear that nothing short force greater than that which they possess will accomplish that.
I harbor no illusions in this regard; the fact that the Democrats’ thug behavior hasn’t already set off massive alarms nationwide is disturbing to me. Suffering record mid-term election losses didn’t slow the Democrats down in the least or change their attitude at all. And whatever tap on the brakes that a GOP House might put on Obama over the next two years will still leave us moving inexorably in that same direction – toward the collapse of this constitutional republic. (Be that financial, in the form of tens of trillions in debt/obligations/reckless spending that can’t possibly be paid; or political, in the form of authoritarian government [e.g. EPA regulations] crushing personal liberty and controlling the lives and decisions of individuals. Or possibly both.)
Moreover, by the time you count up those on the receiving end who support the Democrats, the ignorant who believe the media’s cheerleading and go along, and finally those who generally see what the Democrats are but aren’t willing to sacrifice a comfortable existence to fight and defeat them, it’s pretty clear that they have the numbers on their side. I certainly think they’re counting on their opponents having a lower commitment level and/or being unwilling to touch off the enmity and conflict that will ensue if they stop the government gravy train from running on time.
In seeing what the Democrats really are, the 2012 elections in turn need to be seen for what they are: the last, best chance to save this country from being destroyed from within. We cannot be thinking in small and timid measures against such an intractable foe, or it will be like what the GOP has been doing the last couple years: bringing a stick to a gunfight. (Forget about a knife after what establishment GOP RINOs did in the Senate to produce that lame-duck disaster and stick that blade in all our backs instead.)
If we are to at least achieve stalemate, to say nothing of victory and complete reversal of all the damage that Obama, Pelosi, and Reid have inflicted the past few years, we must first accept that they in fact are the enemy. Then, we must understand their nature and mentality.
Only then does it become clear the measure of resolve and courage it will take on our part to defeat them, what type of candidates we must – and must not – field against them, and what strategy we and those candidates must be unflinchingly willing to employ, both to win elections and then to implement that reversal.
When one views the unhinged hatred and despicable tactics the left unleashed upon honorable people like Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, and Sarah Palin in hopes of destroying them – and especially by what order of magnitude that stands to be increased upon Palin and her family should she choose to run for the presidency in the next couple of months – one sees quite starkly just what we’re all up against.
To paraphrase The Oracle in The Matrix Revolutions, speaking to Neo of Agent Smith:
“Every superpower in the history of this world has eventually crumbled to dust, and it’s arrogant to think it can’t happen to America too. I see the end coming; I see the darkness spreading; I see death. And you, the patriotic citizens of America, are all that stands in the left’s way. Very soon Obama and the Democrats are going to have the power to destroy this nation, but I believe they won’t stop there. They can’t. They won’t stop until there’s nothing left at all. One way or the other, this political conflict is going to end; in November 2012, the future of both red and blue America will be in your hands or in theirs.”

This article is right on the mark! Hopefully more and more of the citizens of this country will quickly realize as fact what the writer has described and take personal responsibility to support the principles this country was established upon and outlined in the Constitution. I do and will continue to call attention to the situation everyday.
I am not rattling superb with English but I get hold this very easygoing to translate.
