Are churches promoting Marxism?

Did Jesus teach us the only way to earn salvation is by helping the poor through despotic government mandates? Not in my Bible, he didn’t. However, that is the message being espoused by a lot of churches today.

It wasn't about politics with Him, it was about free will.

It wasn't about politics with Him, it was about free will.

In recent weeks, Fox News conservative personality Glenn Beck has been bringing this topic to light as millions of Americans are slowly learning the dangers this pseudo-Christian doctrinal message ushers in.

Keep in perspective that this is all part of a grand scheme known as “liberalizing Christianity” which is a trend that has been ongoing since right after the 2004 elections which saw a majority of church-goers vote heavily for George W. Bush.

After John Kerry’s sound defeat in that election, the far-left knew they needed a game changer if they stood any chance at winning future elections on the backs of traditional Americans.

Of course, everything they could have ever hoped for happened in 2008, when a large portion of values voters and Protestants found a home on the Barack Obama mystery wagon.

Why?

Remember, the 2008 campaign was about style over substance and Christians were not excluded from this strategy; they were the nucleus of it.

Take a look back at the central theme of Obama’s religious marketing pitch and you will notice it was geared toward social and economic justice for the poor while dancing on the fence when it came to abortion and gay marriage.

If you think this was because the Democrats suddenly woke up to traditional biblical views, think again. You and I are nothing more than labels inside of a certain voting bloc to them.

Ultimately, the endgame resulted in Barack Obama being able to wrestle away a strong force of voters from the religious right without having to explain his actual stance on traditional issues.

This brings us to Marxism in churches.

Mr. Beck is not the only public figure to warn of the coming threat from liberation theology. During a Vatican winter meeting last year, Pope Benedict warned a group of Brazilian bishops of rebellion, division, dissent, offenses and anarchist motives which are sweeping through churches that promote Marxism.

He referred to “certain deceitful principles of liberation theology” which continues to cause uproar in certain Catholic movements.

What was widely seen as a threat outside of the United States is finally here. Unfortunately, Marxism is still the same even if operating under a different title.

This is where liberation theology and the Democratic Party have blended.

The internal problem the Democratic Party faces is that Catholics vehemently oppose abortion. Thus, the strategy is to focus entirely on economic issues rather than values which are what drives Protestants to the polls.

This is how Democrats feel they can win elections by merely justifying the need for economic change, all the while steering clear of any debate on core biblical issues.

However, the curtains have been pulled back.

The ultimate conclusion that we must draw, as it pertains to liberation theology in America, is that it is being used for political gain by the far-left and Democratic Party. Think about this for a minute. Since liberation theology is grounded in “economic and social justice” the message is pretty clear; “Jesus wanted to help the poor, therefore we must follow this creed by any means possible.”

And we thought only conservatives used Jesus as justification for political policy directives. This is what the Pope was talking about when he described “deceitful practices.” In other words, liberals place another guilt trip at the feet of the American people under the appearance of Christian principals.

This tactic could not be any further from the truth.

Jesus commanded charity from the heart, not force, because when something is forced it loses its initial core meaning. Hence, when liberals throw out the accusation that Jesus had to be a liberal because he fed everyone for free or lived as a beggar, they fail to realize he did these things to show what man was capable of if he was right in heart by nature.

Remember, salvation through Christ is something we seek but are not forced into.

It all goes back to the liberal mentality that if Americans recognize we have the power to exercise free-will and self-sufficiency we will choose to run our own lives versus the government being in charge.

Liberation theology, which is firmly rooted in Marxism, instructs us to obey government intrusion, while encouraging a system that is devoid of capitalism.

The irony of all of this is; capitalism allows the very same churches that preach against it, tax exemption, which in turn lifts the economic burden off of the congregation thus ensuring them financial success.

If Jesus subscribed to free-will, why can’t liberals?

  • Nice! It’s so laborious to seek good quality data on the internet the current day from knowledgeable sources, it’s all wannabe’s and reused content with only a few exceptions. I hope you keep up the good work and I shall be back to read more of your posts sooner or later!
